Gifts From China

    Our grandad recently came back from a trip to China. He gives Bibles to churches there, is able to witness to people, and other stuff like that.

    He goes to China about twice a year, and each time he goes to China he comes back with gifts. He has given each of his grandaughters a dress from China. This time Goldilocks got hers.

    Unfourtunately I only got a fake smile there, so you can't see how happy she is to have the dress on.

    I took a picture from the back to show you how pretty it is, but the color is much better in real life.

    Those dolls she is holding are also from China. I hope you enjoyed seeing this adorable little in her China dress as much as she enjoys being seen it it!

We have been fairly busy these last few weeks. One of the things we did that kept us busy was Vacation Bible School.

I wasn't able to take pictures during my class but Sam got some.

Sam had the pleasure of working with our kind friend. She was a great help.

They had a class of four cute kids.

Just in case you couldn't tell they are playing musical chairs. (And from the picture I'm guessing the boys were the most competitive!)

I wonder who won...

SquiRe made a new friend. They both had fun playing together.

This cute little girl in their class was a great memorizer! She learned the verses and songs very quickly.

and music. (Those two big kids were my students!)

We had a great week. I know I probably learned as much or more than my students. It was such a blessing.

Anyway, that's just one thing that took up our time we will have another post or two for you soon!

Last year we posted "The Dad Life", but because it was such a popular post we are posting it again this year.


We love you, Dad! Thank you for working so hard for us, for lovingly teaching and correcting us so that we might grow up in the Right Way.  There could never be found an equal to such a great Dad like you!

Sorry, but summer is keeping us busy...

This summer has started great, Bible Bee studies, baseball games, swimming, BBQ, chili dogs - all that good summer stuff, it's been loads of fun up until...it hit. Two different sicknesses at once circulating through our family. One is stomach issues and the other is a soar-throat-congested-head kind of thing. It's not so fun.

So anyway, we will be getting back to you when the sickness gets away from us.

Spring Carnival

Well, hello all! My attempts to load the videos of the pie throw were unsuccessful, so I will only have pictures for you. (Maybe Sam or Risa could post the video[s]!)
