Finally An Update!

It has taken us quite a while to actually post, but that is because our computer would not uplaod any pictures! I'm sorry to have left this blog so silent! :)

First of all, Goldilocks is four now! She is learning so much, she can memorize short verses, she counts to 10 in Spanish and knows many other words en EspaƱol, and she is sweet sister and usually a pretty obedient one too!

A few posts we would've had, had the computer been cooperative:

Sam the Barber! She did a pretty great job for her first time. (Even though it doesn't look like it SquiRe has so much hair! Not ideal for cutting, but great for a middle aged SquiRe who won't want to bald!) =)

SquiRe the Cowboy! He was in the rodeo this year. He participated in Mutton Bustin'! SquiRe tied for first with a score of 89. For those of you who do not know what Mutton Busting is, let me tell you. Mutton Bustin' is similar to bull riding or bronc riding, however children ride on sheep istead of men on big broncs/bulls! He had lots of fun practicing on his grandad, dad, and big sisters' backs, too!

Okay now, last but not least: I want you to guess what the next "post" would be about/ titled. First of all we moved in... late March. So all of the picture below are of us at our new house. We got a special treat at our new home, can you see what it is?
Look closely.
Can't spot it yet? How about this one?
Yes! You see the amazing suprise we got!
Snow in March!
Look at that!

Some of you may be wondering why snow in the middle of March is so "amazing". Well, where we used to live snow at all was amazing!
The snow decorated Sam's curly locks!

Before it stuck to the ground it first stuck to us. His hat sprinkled!

We ended up getting a good bit of snow that lasted all through the next day.

It was so much fun for the kids,
not so much fun for the dogs!

This picture makes me laugh so hard! Our diggle* is just sad lookin'!

Have a fabulous day, Readers!

*Diggle is a nick name I have given to our Shar Pei because of her resemblence to the diggles of Glipwood* forest.

**Glipwood forest comes from Andrew Peterson's fantasy adventure series. We all really like his books.

The Best of 2011

... pictures!

This one was hard, because we took so many pictures, but I didn't want to bore our readers with a never ending post so I rounded it down to top three photos. I hope you like them.

In third place:
I love the way Risa focused on the trees and left the waterfall in the distance. Very beautiful.

Second place is a sister's group portrait.
Our vacation was a blast! Maybe not the best picture of us girls, but it holds great memories.

And first place:
My two little sisters! I'll let this one speak for itself -it's just great. (Photo taken by Risa)

Okay, I had to put this one in for laughs! ^-^ He was caught at the scene of the crime!

Just so you all know I'm the one who placed these as first second and third, my sister's opinions will possibly probably be different.

I think this concludes our "Best of 2011" posting.

I hope you enjoyed them and have many great pictures of your own from the last year!
(Which do you like best?)

Sam was asking all of us the questions a little while ago. They are a lot of fun.  Our grandad got them all correct, but then he told us he had already been sent all of the questions in an e-mail. He said the first time he read them he didn't get any of them! See how many you can solve without looking at the answers!

3. Before Mt. Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain in the world?

4. How much dirt is there in a hole that measures two feet by three feet by four feet?

5. What word in the English Language is always spelled incorrectly?

6. Billy was born on December 28th, yet his birthday is always in the summer. How is this possible?

7. In California, you cannot take a picture of a man with a wooden leg. Why not?
